Whenever I open my house in the morning and think of the day ahead I think of all the possibilities that this day might bring.
Like going down the street, getting a coffee from my favorite coffee vendor “Joe”, but finding out that his name isn’t really “Joe” it’s Jennifer. Then feeling really awful about mistaking her for a him, I leave a little more quickly that I should have and run into the door on my way out, spilling all the coffee I just purchased from Joe/Jennifer all over my suit. I walk back home to find that I have no suits left at home they are at the cleaners. So I walk to the cleaners and on the way get punched by Joe/Jennifer’s boyfriend for calling her a “DUDE”. I stagger my way to the cleaners only to find they went to lunch. While they were at lunch the building caught fire accidentally when my magnifying glass watch sparked a container of gasoline and led to a giant explosion. Having been a witness to this, what is now being called “arson” I was brought down for questioning. While at the police station I was confused with the notorious “pencil thin mustache killer”. Three weeks and several lawyers later I am released in my wonderfully coffee stained clothes to get back home. All the while dreaming of what new adventures I may have tomorrow.
I could go for a coffee right now, but that might have to wait till morning.
